Cars & Bikes
Cars & Bikes is a beautiful vintage juvenile ride which features an assortment of cars and bikes on a roundabout platform. Suitable for small children, it costs from £600 to hire.
Ball in the Bucket
An old favourite, this vintage fairground side stall, painted in the traditional bright fairground style, operates by getting the ball in the buckets to win prizes. From £450 to hire - please note prizes are not included in the price.

Another traditional fairground sidestall involving fishing with hooks on fishing rods to win prizes. From £450 to hire - please note prizes are not included in the price.
These classic swingboats are an old fairground favourite, specially downsized and suited to small children, who enjoy being in charge of their own destiny by pulling a rope to swing higher. A gentle ride for small children, it costs from £450 to hire. They are best erected on grass, but can also be set up on hardstanding for an extra fee. If you're interested in adult swingboats, we occasionally have some available, see below.
The classic fairground "Test Your Strength Machine" - hit the button with a mallet and see if you can ring the bell. We supply the strikers in three sizes: Son of Striker, Mother Striker and The Mighty Striker, so people of all abilities have the chance of hitting the bell. Please note the Mighty Striker needs to be on grass, as it is staked to the ground. The Son of Striker and Mother Striker are from £450 each, and the Mighty Striker £600 to hire. Please be aware that prizes are not included in the price, but they are not essential to enjoy this attraction. To find out more about the Strikers and their history, click here.
The quintessential English fairground ride, the steam-run Gallopers are beautiful as well as being nostalgic and atmospheric. This particular ride dates from 1895, and it has a fairground organ built in, so you can have the music to go with it. To find out more about the Gallopers and their history click here. For situations where steam is not possible, it now has a discreet electric motor as an option since its appearance at the O2 Arena. Suitable for adults and supervised children. To hire the Gallopers costs from £2500.
The Jungle Thriller Ark
This large 1930s ride features animals and motorcycles which rush round over a contoured, hilly, platform. Suitable for adults and children (over 1 year). Click here to find out more about the Ark and its history. To hire the Ark costs from £3000.
Fly high on the Chair-o-Plane, one of the best known of the English fairground rides. This one dates from the 1920s, and features a number of chairs on chains which swing out to the side when it spins. To find out more about the Chair-o-Plane and its history, click here. The Steam Yachts
A very rare survivor, the Excelsior Steam Yachts are run by a central steam engine and incorporates two 'boats' which swing almost perpendicular. Please be aware that, despite appearances, this isn't the sedate Victorian ride it pretends to be! To find out more about the Steam Yachts and their history click here. The Austin Cars
An ever-popular children's ride, the Austin Cars is a track around which Austin J40 cars run. Two small children can fit in each car, and it is suitable for quite small children, as it isn't very fast or furious. Click here to find out more about them and their history. Similar to Cars & Bikes (see above), Toytown is a vintage roundabout featuring a number of former-pedal cars on a rotating platform. To find out more about Toytown and its history, click here. It is suitable for small children, and costs from £600 to hire.
The Mini Octopus
This ride is a small-scale version of the popular Octopus ride, specially suited to children. To find out more about it and its history, click here. It costs from £700 to hire.
Along with the Four Bay Swings (see above) we also provide two other sizes of Swingboat, one for adults and one for juveniles. The adult swings cost approximately £1200 to hire, and the juvenile version from £800. They need to be erected on grass as they are staked to the ground for stability.
